Follow Me Printing

Within busy open plan offices, printing sensitive data is becoming increasingly difficult as is prevention of unauthorised use of expensive colour printers, MFD's and plotters. Prohibitive costs prevent one person utilising their own printer, or even two users from sharing.

Follow Me Printing allows a document to be sent from any Windows PC to a secure Follow Me Printing server. It uses proximity cards to identify the user as the correct recipient of the document to be printed. Once you approach the printer or multi-function device with the ID card, only then will your document be printed.

Appealing to many companies is the credit facility that can be set-up for each user account. Individual users can be assigned a set amount of credits, preventing them from wasting unnecessary paper and toner.
